Kimberly Martens is known for her creation of beautiful and accurate imagery of medical subject matter in the areas of patient and healthcare education and pharmaceutical and biotech advertising and marketing. She has focused experience in women's healthcare issues and nursing.
As a Board Certified Medical Illustrator (CMI) and art educator, Martens enjoys working with a diverse range of medical and art professionals to craft solutions that teach medical concepts. Her resume includes hundreds of publications and art direction for some of the most notable patient education companies and publishers. Martens' work has earned her numerous awards from the Association of Medical Illustrators including two Member’s Choice awards.
Martens holds a MAMS in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a BGS in Scientific Illustration from Northern Illinois University, and is an active member of the Association of Medical Illustrators.
